Abstract

Public’s recognition is one of the method to increase the credibility of a school and by using this term, the school’s publication has become an urgent matter. The purpose of this community service is to give assistance to the public relation of SMK 9 Wagir (Vocational High School 3 Wagir) to elevate the school’s credibility by designing a website for the school to introduce the institution to the public. The method used in elevating the school’s credibility involves: (1) conducting workshop in public relation management, (2) conducting website management workshop, (3) doing website designing assistance, (4) evaluating the whole process. The product as a result expected from this community service is a ready to access website to introduce the institution to the public and journal article related to the matter.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media Mantri Caino yang merupakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis etnomatematika dengan menggunakan adobe flash. Mantri Caino diperuntukkan bagi peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dan sederajat meliputi materi bangun datar segiempat dan segitiga beserta unsur budaya (etnomatematika). Adapun metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D). Pada metode penelitian  R&D¸ dilakukan beberapa tahap pengukuran kualitas Mantri Caino yaitu meliputi kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Berdasarkan peneitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan yaitu media pembelajaran interaktif Mantri Caino telah memenuhi kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan dan bersifat valid, praktis, serta efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif Mantri Caino telah valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hal ini telah sesuai dengan penilaian para ahli, respon siswa, serta hasil tes siswa, dengan 90% peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori tuntas. Abstract: This study aims to produce Mantri Caino media, namely ethnomatematics-based interactive learning media, created by using Adobe Flash. Caino Mantri was intended for junior high school students (SMP) and equivalents. The method used in this study was research and development (R & D). In this method, several stages of Caino Mantri's quality measurements were carried out, including validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on the conducted research, it can be concluded that the product produced, namely interactive learning media Mantri Caino, has fulfilled the specified criteria, that was valid, practical, and effective to be used in learning. The conclusion found that Mantri Caino's interactive learning media were valid, practical, and effective. This was in accordance to the assessment of experts, student responses, and student test results, with 90% of students included in the complete category.
