Abstract

The advancement of technology and the demands of Industry 4.0 have heightened the need for STEM-based education; however, science teachers in Indonesia continue to face challenges in mastering technologies such as robotics. This community service activity aimed to enhance science teachers' competency in integrating Arduino coding for Rover navigation within a space exploration learning theme. The workshop was conducted by the Science Education Study Program of FPMIPA UPI in collaboration with the Korean Astronomical Society (KAS), involving 30 participants from the Greater Bandung area. Activities included presentations on Rover concepts and hands-on coding sessions using the Arduino IDE. Evaluation results from 28 respondents showed an average score above 4 on a Likert scale, indicating positive responses toward the program's benefits. Participants who were initially skeptical about technology demonstrated increased enthusiasm and motivation. Hands-on workshops of this nature are recommended for comunity development to build a sustainable STEM learning ecosystem in Indonesia.
