Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of utilizing productive zakat as an instrument of economic empowerment and poverty alleviation in Indonesia. Through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examined 28 selected scientific articles from the range of 2015 to 2026 sourced from the Google Scholar database and reputable journals. The data selection process uses the PRISMA protocol to ensure the validity and transparency of the findings. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of productive zakat is highly dependent on three main pillars: the accuracy of mustahik selection, the intensity of business assistance, and the use of digital technology in program monitoring. This study found that the transformation of mustahik status into muzakki cannot be achieved only through the provision of capital, but requires the integration of financial literacy and spiritual guidance. In addition, distribution digitalization was found to be a key factor in increasing program transparency and reach in the post-pandemic era. The implications of this study emphasize the need to standardize the productive zakat management model for Amil Zakat Institutions (LAZ) in order to optimize the economic sustainability of the ummah in the long term.

Abstract

Cooperatives in indonesia constitute the foundational pillar of the national economy and hold a constitutionally strategic position. However, their existence is currently under pressure from the hegemony of modern markets, which are dominated by large capital interests and the penetration of digital technology. This study aims to provide a comprehensive mapping of the internal strengths and fundamental weaknesses of cooperatives within the Indonesian market system through a systematic literature review. The analysis examines 24 selected scholarly journal articles published between 2019 and 2026 to ensure the data remains relevant to current economic dynamics. The synthesis indicates that the primary strengths of cooperatives lie in their social capital, the principle of kinship (asas kekeluargaan) which fosters member loyalty, and their potential for digital adaptation as a tool to mitigate economic recessions and the dominance of multinational corporations. Conversely, the findings confirm chronic, unresolved weaknesses, including low managerial professionalism, limited access to capital, and small economies of scale that hinder price efficiency in competitive markets. External challenges, such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and shifting consumer behaviors, demand that cooperatives undergo immediate structural transformation. This article concludes that the key to cooperative sustainability in the face of modern market hegemony lies in the implementation of agile strategic management, service digitalization, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships. Policy recommendations are directed toward reinforcing regulations that protect the cooperative ecosystem without compromising its inherent competitiveness within the market mechanism.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to evaluate in depth the implementation of sharia marketing mix strategies at Bakso Bang Karim MSME in Karang Duwak Village, Bangkalan, and its impact on customer loyalty and sales volume. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with field research methods, primary and secondary data were collected through participatory observation techniques, sales record documentation studies, and in-depth interviews with business owners, employees, and loyal customers. Data analysis was conducted inductively through an interactive cycle comprising data reduction, descriptive narrative display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Bakso Bang Karim has successfully and consistently integrated tawhid values and prophetic ethics (shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, fathanah) into the 4P marketing mix. The synergy between halalan thayyiban product quality assurance, fair pricing (‘adl), trustworthy distribution services, and honest promotion effectively mitigates gharar risk. Furthermore, the ethical adoption of digital technology strengthens customer engagement and triggers positive Word of Mouth (WOM) mechanisms. This holistic strategy has significant implications for increasing sustainable sales volume and achieving business blessings (falah). Abstract

The agricultural sector is a crucial macroeconomic pillar; however, financing stagnation frequently occurs due to the rigid fund allocation of formal institutions. Islamic economics offers profit-sharing schemes as a solution. This study analyzes the operational mechanism of informal mudharabah contracts in Arok Village, Bangkalan Regency, its impact on farmers' welfare, and its supporting and inhibiting factors. Utilizing a qualitative phenomenological approach, primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with 12 key informants (mudharib, shahibul maal, and community leaders) from October 2025 to April 2026. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. Results indicate that mudharabah operates in an informal-communitarian realm via oral contracts without physical collateral. Risks from absent written documents are adaptively mitigated through local social capital—specifically asymmetric trust and communal sanctions to suppress moral hazard. This partnership enhances farmers' economic and spiritual welfare through fair income distribution and freedom from middlemen. However, sustainability remains hindered by limited local investor capital and low Islamic accounting literacy among farmers. Scientifically, this study contributes by reconstructing a social capital-based agrarian risk mitigation model as a substitute for material collateral. Institutional reconstruction via synergy with Farmers' Waqf Banks or Islamic cooperatives is recommended.

Abstract

Global gold price volatility and high inflation during the 2022–2026 period established gold as a primary safe-haven asset, prompting Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to expand its "Cicil Emas" (Gold Installment) product. Moving beyond fragmented, single-site empirical inquiries, this study offers a novel high level synthesis of 20 peer-reviewed journal articles from Google Scholar and Crossref to formulate a national macro marketing model. Guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol, the literature selection was systematically processed through a six-stage qualitative thematic analysis, encompassing data familiarization, open coding, theme identification, thematic review, pillar definition, and narrative synthesis. The findings reveal a structural transition toward a "Phygital" marketing framework. BSI resolves digital trust deficits by integrating BYOND mobile application efficiency with physical branches acting as institutional trust anchors. Additionally, ethical positioning under Sharia principles mitigates price sensitivity through spiritual certainty, while operational velocity in gold appraisal and direct outreach via canvassing convert public awareness into concrete investment decisions. This synthesis bridges localized empirical gaps, establishing a comprehensive strategic reference for global Islamic banking governance.

Abstract

Fundraising remains the primary pillar of stability in Islamic banking, with Hajj funds serving as a strategic long term funding source for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). However, the management of these large scale funds involves complex risk dynamics influenced by macroeconomic fluctuations and the rising competitiveness of the Islamic capital market. This study aims to analyze risk management within Mudharabah and Wadiah contracts in the context of Hajj fund management during the post-merger BSI era leading toward 2026. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research synthesizes findings from 21 reputable journal articles published between 2019 and 2026, screened via the PRISMA protocol. The results indicate that Mudharabah contracts exhibit high vulnerability to Displaced Commercial Risk (DCR) due to the volatility of bank income and financing quality (NPF), while Wadiah contracts require stringent mitigation of Systemic Liquidity Risk to ensure fund availability during potential "bank rush" scenarios. Furthermore, the aggressive penetration of Retail Sukuk was identified as a dominant external factor triggering "deposit cannibalization," as rational customers shift preferences toward sovereign instruments with more stable yields. The findings suggest that the integration of AI based Predictive Risk Analytics, the optimization of Profit Equalization Reserves (PER), and the strengthening of Shariah Governance are crucial for maintaining liquidity resilience. This research provides a theoretical contribution to Islamic banking literature and offers practical recommendations for BSI to transform into an integrated Shariah Wealth Management hub to remain competitive in a volatile global financial landscape.
