Abstract

Kiaracondong Station is the second largest station in Bandung that serves intercity travel routes and commuter trains. Referring to The Regulation of The Minister of Transportation Number 48 of 2015 concerning The Minimum Service Standard for Transportation of Persons by Train, one of the indicators for measuring the level of satisfaction of train passengers towards station performance is by providing vehicle parking facilities. This research aims to analyse and evaluate parking performance based on user perceptions. The research uses primary data from direct observation results and the dissemination of questionnaires as well as secondary data, namely the Technical Guidelines for Implementation Parking Facilities by the General Director of Land Transportation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive statistical analysis technique. The analysis results show that there are no available pedestrian path facilities and there is a point of circulation conflict between the outgoing motor vehicle and the inflow of the car vehicle. The number of existing parking slots for car vehicles with a size of 2.5 x 5 m is 114 slots and 273 slots for motorcycle vehicles with a size of 1 x 1.35 m. The number of visitors’s vehicles only filled 39-44% of the SRP slots that are available, so the parking facilities that are provided can still accommodate parking needs for visitors/passengers. Some things that need to be improved in parking facilities from the perception of passengers/visitors are the aspect of convenience, availability of parking space, comfort and security.
