Abstract

The study was conducted at Hermon Integrated Kindergarten. Initial observations showed the level of faith development of children aged 5-6 years at Hermon Integrated Kindergarten, namely: Children who do not yet believe in the Lord Jesus as Savior have diverse religious backgrounds. Children are afraid to mention the name of the Lord Jesus because parents often forbid and scold them if the name of Jesus is mentioned at home. To overcome this, a creative method is needed because children have different understandings, attitudes, and responses. The first research objective is to describe the application of Bible stories to increase the faith of children aged 5-6 years. Second, to analyze the effectiveness of the application of Bible stories using audiovisuals in increasing the faith of children aged 5-6 years. Third, to analyze the increase in the faith of children aged 5-6 years with the application of Bible stories using audiovisuals. The research subjects were seven children. The research method used was Classroom Action Research using two cycles with six meetings. Based on the results of the recapitulation, the value is that the seven children are in the Very Well Developed (BSB) category. Therefore, it is concluded that the application of Bible stories using audiovisuals can be used in learning activities to increase children's faith. Through the application of audiovisual Bible stories, children learn the Word of God, learn the story of Jesus' life while on earth, believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior of Mankind, and increase the foundation of children's Christian faith.

Abstract

This research used a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis and the SMARTPLS4 statistical analysis tool to investigate the relationship between school principal leadership skills in the context of a skills approach to management levels. Data was collected from 33 school principals under the auspices of the PESAT Foundation using a questionnaire instrument. The research results show that technical skills and conceptual skills have a significant influence on the principal's interpersonal skills. Apart from that, conceptual skills also have a significant influence on the management level of school principals. However, technical skills and interpersonal skills do not have a significant influence on the principal's management level. Furthermore, the research results show that interpersonal skills do not have a significant mediating role between technical skills and the principal's management level, nor between conceptual skills and the principal's management level. These findings demonstrate the complexity in the relationship between principals' leadership skills and highlight the importance of considering multiple factors in the development of effective leadership skills in the school environment. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan alat analisis statistik SMARTPLS4 untuk menginvestigasi hubungan antara keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam konteks pendekatan keterampilan terhadap tingkatan manajemen. Data dikumpulkan dari 33 kepala kepala sekolah dibawah naungan Yayasan PESAT dengan instrumen kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan teknis dan keterampilan konseptual memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan interpersonal kepala sekolah. Selain itu, keterampilan konseptual juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah. Namun, keterampilan teknis dan keterampilan interpersonal tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan interpersonal tidak memiliki peran mediasi yang signifikan antara keterampilan teknis dengan tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah, maupun antara keterampilan konseptual dengan tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah. Penemuan ini menunjukkan kompleksitas dalam hubungan antara keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan menyoroti pentingnya mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor dalam pengembangan keterampilan kepemimpinan yang efektif di lingkungan sekolah.
