<![CDATA[ABSTRAKBantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) merupakan sekumpulan intervensi yang bertujuan untuk mengembalikan dan mempertahankan fungsi vital organ pada korban henti jantung dan henti nafas. Dinas Perhubungan merupakan salah satu orang yang harus menguasai keterampilan pertolongan pertama pada korban kecelakaan lalu lintas dalam menangani kasus gawat darurat sebelum korban ditangani oleh petugas kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan pengetahuan Pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dalam memberikan bantuan hidup dasar (BHD) pada korban kecelakaan lalu lintas di Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode analitik cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang Pegawai. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa pengetahuan responden tergolong sudah cukup baik karena data menunjukkan responden memiliki pengetahuan cukup (46,7%) dan baik (6,7%), ada Hubungan antara usia dengan Tingkat Pengetahuan dengan nilai p value = 0,021 dan ada Hubungan antara pelatihan dengan Tingkat Pengetahuan dengan nilai p value = 0,000. Peneliti menyarankan agar Dinas Perhubungan dapat bekerja sama dengan instansi kesehatan dengan cara mengadakan pelatihan BHD untuk seluruh Pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, Dinas Perhubungan, Bantuan Hidup Dasar ANALYSIS OF FACTORS RELATED TO KNOWLEDGE OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES OFFICER OF SOUTH SUMATRA PROVINCE IN PROVIDING BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) TO TRAFFIC ACCIDENT VICTIMS IN PALEMBANG CITYABSTRACTBasic Life Support (BLS) is a set of interventions aimed at restoring and maintaining vital organ functions in victims of cardiac and respiratory arrest. The Department of Transportation is one the people who must master first aid skills for traffic accident victims in handling emergency cases before the victim is handled by health workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of factors related to the knowledge of the South Sumatra Provincial Transportation Service Employees in providing basic life support (BLS) to traffic accident victims in Palembang City. The quantitative research method uses the cross-sectional analytic method. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Respondents in this study were 30 employees. The results showed that the knowledge of the respondents was classified as good enough because the data showed that the respondents had sufficient knowledge (46.7%) and good (6.7%), and there was a relationship between age and knowledge level with a p-value = 0.021 and there was a relationship between training with Knowledge Level with p-value = 0.000. Researchers suggest that the Department of Transportation can cooperate with health agencies by conducting BLS training for all employees of the Department of Transportation of the Province of South Sumatra.Keywords : Knowledge, Department of Transportation, Basic Life Support]]>
