Abstract

The Village Fund programme is one of the Indonesian government policies that aims to promote local economic development through independent budget management by village governments. This study evaluates the extent to which the programme has been effective in improving community welfare and economic development at the village level. The results of the evaluation show that Dana Desa has significantly contributed to improvements in infrastructure, local economic empowerment, and access to public services. However, the implementation of the programme still faces a number of challenges, such as a lack of human resource capacity, weak supervision, and potential budget misuse. To ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the programme, it is necessary to improve governance, increase transparency, strengthen monitoring mechanisms, and actively involve the community in every stage of implementation. Thus, the Village Fund has a great opportunity to become an effective instrument in supporting sustainable economic development and equalising community welfare in rural areas.

Abstract

In the Economy 5.0 era, the concept of smart cities is increasingly relevant with the integration of smart technology in urban development. Smart Cities emphasise the importance of using cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and big data analytics to improve the efficiency, safety, and quality of life of city dwellers. The implementation of this technology enables more effective management in various sectors, including transportation, energy, and health. However, the adoption of smart technology presents challenges such as cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital inequality, which require comprehensive attention and solutions through collaboration between the government, the private sector, and the community. With a holistic and collaborative approach, the integration of smart technology in city development can bring significant benefits to the sustainability and welfare of urban communities.

Abstract

The use of robotics and automation in the era of Economy 5.0 has become a major catalyst in improving productivity in various industrial sectors. These technologies provide solutions to optimise operational efficiency by reducing time and costs, and consistently improving output quality. Despite the positive impact, this transformation also brings challenges in the form of changes to the labour market, which requires adaptation strategies through training and re-education. With a thoughtful and collaborative approach, the adoption of robotics and automation can lead to sustainable and inclusive economic growth, if balanced with policies that support social and economic sustainability.
