Abstract

In the rapidly growing digital era, Information Technology (IT) has become a crucial component in eflorts to improve local economic resilience. The research method used is literature. The results show that IT is very supportive in improving the operational efficiency of local businesses, expanding market access, and encouraging innovation. E-commerce proves to be an important channel for SMEs to market their products more widely, while the adoption of cloud technology and big data analytics enables smarter and more targeted business decisions. In addition, IT also plays a role in creating a vibrant startup ecosystem, which in turn contributes to job creation and diversification of the local economy. However, the study also identified several challenges in IT implementation, such as the digital divide, the lack of digital skills among the local workforce, and the need for adequate IT infrastructure.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) have an important position in running the wheels of regional economic growth by creating jobs, reducing unemployment, and strengthening economic inclusion in various regions. This research discusses the vital role of MSMEs in empowering the local economy through job creation, increasing competitiveness through product innovation, and contributing to local revenue. In addition, MSMEs also drive the growth of supporting industries such as logistics, marketing, and wholesale trade, ultimately creating a more open and sustainable business ecosystem. However, to make the most of the role of MSMEs, several strategic measures are needed, including strengthening access to capital and financing through the People's Business Credit (KUR) programme and financial technology, improving the quality of human resources through entrepreneurship and management training, and improving physical and digital infrastructure. In addition, the government needs to develop policies and regulations that support the growth of MSMEs by simplifying the licensing process, providing tax incentives, and ensuring strong legal protection for MSME players. This study concludes that with the right policy support and coordinated strategic measures, MSMEs have great potential to become a resilient and sustainable engine of the local economy, and contribute significantly to open national economic growth.

Abstract

The role of capital in agriculture is one of the most important production factors after land in agricultural production in term of its contribusion to production velue. This study aims to determine the important role of capital in agriculture development, sources of capital for agriculturalactivities, and the roleand function of cooperatives as economic institutions in rural areas. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This type of approach is in the from of a study of scientific books and journals from works of research and thoughts produced by researchers and practitioners. Sources of data loaded come from books, journals and articles published on the website. The development of downstream agroindustry must become the concem of corporations as parf of value creation that is able to improve the welfare of stackeholders on an ongoing basis
