Abstract

Everyone can experience stress, according to the Mental Health Foundation [MNF] in (Nabila & Sayekti, 2021), someone who experiences stress and is unable to manage it will have a negative impact on him, such as overeating, smoking, drinking, and feelings of depression, anxiety, and thoughts of ending life. There are various ways to reduce stress, one of which is by using aroma therapy, which is called aromatherapy. Aromatherapy can be produced through candles that are lit and emit fragrance around the room. In addition to producing therapeutic aromas, these candles create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, vaporizing essential oils to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of well-being. Aromatherapy candles can be made by yourself in a fraction of the time. This workshop was conducted involving 14 students consisting of nine women and five men, taking about an hour to make. The product uses 100% natural wax, is environmentally friendly, and free of toxic materials, packaged in a transparent glass container with a minimalist design. The aromatherapy candles developed are designed for relaxation, mood elevation and stress relief with two scents: Minty Rose and Jasmine Sands. The candles can be used if they have reached a certain frost. Abstract

Intensive TikTok use among Generation Z often gives rise to fear of missing out (FoMO), namely anxiety experienced when feeling left behind in terms of information or social activities, whereas self-control is regarded as an important factor that can reduce this tendency. This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-control and FoMO among Generation Z TikTok users. A quantitative correlational method was employed with 425 participants aged 18–25 years in the Jabodetabek area. Data were collected through online questionnaires using self-control scales and FoMOS, while data analysis used Spearman’s rho because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed a significant negative relationship between self-control and FoMO (r = –0.674; p < 0.001), indicating that the higher an individual’s self-control, the lower the level of FoMO experienced. These findings highlight the importance of self-regulation in reducing digital anxiety among Generation Z and provide a basis for developing digital literacy education programs and psychological interventions to promote healthier social media use.
