Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide information to the students of Kupang City Leadership Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) on how to the correct way of hand washing with soap (CTPS) and introduction to several applications of learning IPA in everyday life. The activities methods used are the preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The evaluation results of activities showed that students generally of hand washing with soap (CTPS) are correctly during demonstrations and practice. Likewise the introduction to several applications of learning IPA in everyday life, students generally able to recognize and well recall the phenomena, physical quantities and some examples that have been presented when asked to mention and explain them again. These results provide confidence that carrying out this activity is an experience that can help students to always behave in a clean and healthy lifestyle wherever they are and have an interest in learning IPA.

Abstract

Electronics and technology are inseparable from students' activities at school as well as their lives as children in the family environment. As part of technology, electronics also continues to developments in many ways in various fields, one of the which is manifested in electronic circuit systems. So that it functions as it should, the use of electronic components is very important on the electronic circuit system. Therefore, theory and introduction to basic electronic components and their applications in the surrounding environment need to be carried out by students. The purpose is to grow a sense of interest as motivation to develop potential, talent and interest in the field of electronics in particular and technology in general so that in the future it is hoped that students will not only become users but are also expected to become inventors, developers and innovators in the field of electronics and technology.

Abstract

Konsep fisika, media dan inovasi pembelajaran serta teknologi merupakan hal yang tidak terpisahkan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran fisika. Pemanfaatan teknologi pada proses pembelajaran merupakan hal mutlak yang harus dilakukan, terutama teknologi berbasis komputer dengan berbagai aplikasi simulasinya. PhET Simulation merupakan salah satu bentuk aplikasi simulasi yang berisikan banyak simulasi dengan topik materi fisika sehingga penting untuk dikenalkan pada mahasiswa fisika. Pengenalan tersebut bertujuan agar mahasiswa fisika dapat menerapkan berbagai topik materi yang dipelajari dalam bentuk simulasi praktikum maupun eksperimen sehingga dapat memahami konsep fisika yang dipelajari. Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep fisika dapat ditingkatkan melalui bantuan PhET Simulation sebagai alternatif media pembelajarannya.
