<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the coordinate system material by applying the learning model of game team tournament. The subjects of this study are the students of class VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Kisaran academic year 2016/2017 in the odd semester with the number of students that is 37 students The results show the completeness of learning in class. In the first cycle classical completeness of 54.05% and on the second cycle increased to 86.49%. It can be concluded that the use of learning model teams tournament games can improve student learning outcomes class VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Kisaran. Keywords: team games tournament, coordinate system Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi sistem koordinat dengan menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran team games tournament. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Kisaran Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 pada semester ganjil dengan jumlah siswa yaitu 37 orang siswa Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 54,05% dan pada siklus II meningkat manjadi 86,49%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran team games tournament dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Kisaran.
