<![CDATA[Abstract. This study aims at analyzing the risk of placenta previa at Polewali Mandar General Hospital. The type of research used is Analytical Observation with the Case Control approach. The results of the study explained that parity was two times the risk of placenta previa. Statistically, parity did not have a significant effect on the incidence of placenta previa. Meanwhile, the history of abortion is six times the risk of placenta previa, which statistically explains that the history of abortion does not have a significant effect on the incidence of placenta previa. Moreover, a history of myoma two times the risk of placenta previa which statistically had no significant effect between myoma history and placenta previa. This study also found that the age variable did not indicate a risk for the incidence of placenta previa.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besar risiko kejadian plasenta previa di RSUD Polewali Mandar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Observasional Analitik dengan pendekatan Case Control. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa paritas merupakan 2 kali berisiko terjadinya plasenta previa. Secara statistik paritas tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap kejadian plasenta previa. Sedangkan riwayat abortus berisiko 6 kali terjadinya plasenta previa dimana secara statistik menjelaskan bahwa riwayat abortus tidak memiliki pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap kejadian plasenta previa, dan riwayat mioma 2 kali berisiko terjadinya plasenta previa dimana secara statistik tidak memiliki pengaruh yang bermakna antara riwayat mioma terhadap kejadian plasenta previa. Sedangkan variabel umur tidak menunjukkan adanya risiko terhadap kejadian plasenta previa.]]>
