<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the zinc (Zn) content in Rasau (Pandanus helicopus) and Bakung air (Hanguana malayana) which are the dominant water plants in the Sebangau river. The study was carried out by taking samples of roots and leaves of Rasau and Bakung air in 3 different locations. The Zn content in the sample was measured using the AAS method (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The results showed that the average Zn content of Rasau in roots was 4.40 mg / Kg and in leaves 2.10 mg / Kg. Zn content of Bakung air in roots 95.39 mg / Kg and in leaves 14.44 mg / Kg. Zn metal transfer factor in Rasau 0.467 and in Bakung air 0.152. Bakung air play a role as Zn metal accumulator plants in river waters.
