<![CDATA[This research is meant to describe the ability of the English Department Students who have taken Structures IV subject in Academic Year 2015/2016 in using noun clause. The research was conducted in the English Department of FKIP UNLAM Banjarmasin. The subject is 70 students: 25 students from 9th semester and 45 students from 7th semester. The method of data analysis used is descriptive quantitative with statistical approach. The result of the research shows that the students’ average score is 63.25 which is classified as Moderate. The highest score is 87.25 which is classified as Very Good and the lowest score is 25 which is classified as Very Bad. The further analysis found that there are 46.43% students who still have difficulty in using noun clause as subject and 43.53% students in using noun clause as indirect object. It is suggested for the students to be more aware of doing the same mistakes and learn more about them from grammar books or other related references. In the other side, it is also good for the English lecturers to pay attention to the mistakes made by the students and give some remedial or another considerable action to improve the students’ ability.]]>
