The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning activities of students of class VIII-6 with the use of KIT photosynthesis test at MTsN 1 Banda Aceh. The method used in this study is the research and development (R&D) method. The location of the study was carried out in the MTsN 1 Science Laboratory at Pocut Baren street number 114 Banda Aceh. This research was conducted in odd semester academic Year 2018/2019 on 01 to 08 November 2018. The instrument in this study is the observation sheet. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics, percentage. The results of this study are the use of KIT teaching a photosynthetic test can improve the learning activities of students of class VIII-6 at MTsN 1 Banda Aceh.
