PENGARUH TEKNIK MEMBACA SQ3R TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMPARAFRASEKAN CERPEN“CUT LAYLA” SISWA KELAS XI SMKISTIQLAL DELITUA

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh teknik membaca SQ3R terhadap kemampuan memparafrasekan cerpen “Cut Layla” siswa kelas XI SMK Istiqlal Delitua. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pre test-post test control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes memparafrasekan cerpen “Cut Layla” dalam bentuk tes tertulis.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 78,51, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol 69,97. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan memparafrasekan cerpen “Cut Layla” di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada di kelas kontrol. Dari hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh harga thitung = 4,848. Jika dibandingkan dengan ttabel  pada dk = 68 yaitu sebesar 1,995. Maka nilai thitung ttabel atau 4,848 1,995, yang artinya bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang menyatakan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara teknik membaca SQ3R terhadap kemampuan memparafrasekan cerita pendek siswa kelas XI SMK Istiqlal Delitua teruji kebenarannya. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik membaca SQ3R berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan memparafrasekan cerpen “Cut Layla” siswa kelas XI SMK Istiqlal Delitua.Kata Kunci:teknik membaca, SQ3R, teknik membaca konvensional Abstract. The method used in this study is the experimental method to the study design test Pre-posttest control group design. Based on calculations, the average value of the experimental class is 78.51, while for the control class 69.97. Thus, it can be said that the average value of short stories paraphrasing ability "Cut Layla" in the experimental group was higher than in the classroom kontrol. Thus, the hypothesis that there is significant influence between reading techniques SQ3R on the ability paraphrase short story class XI student of SMK Istiqlal Delitua verified. So tested, it can be concluded that the techniques SQ3R significant effect on the ability of paraphrasing short story "Cut Layla "a class XI student of SMK Istiqlal Delitua. Keywords:reading technique, SQ3R, conventional reading techniques
