Especially in terms of cognitive, there are various ways dealing with the improvement of their competence optimally. One of them is by conducting reading activities. A literature contains much information that can be reviewed and analyzed at a certain level. Every child needs to get information about various things not only from a mere communication, but also through reading independently. Reading habits should be cultivated from an early age so that the child’s desire to read something will grow as a habit. There are many methods of reading which are offered in a series of child processes to improve their competence. Accuracy in choosing the method will cause the child to be able to perform reading activities effectively. The indicator is when the child has finished reading the passage; he may deliver information orally about the reading materials.The ability to remember and understand this information is also definitely related to the selected and used method by children in reading.
