Abstract

ABSTRACT The provision of motivation through the service of GAMPIL (Gadget Mobile Application for License) to the employees has an important role in improving the quality of service in the performance of employees to the community, one of the employees of the Department of Capital Investment and Applied Licensing (DPMPTSP) Bandung City. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service motivation on employee performance. The research method used is descriptive method of quantitative approach with the intention to find the influence between service motivation (variable x) on employee performance (variable y). Primary data in this research is obtained through the distribution of questioner as much as the number of samples are 87 employees of the Capital Investment Department and Applied Licensing (DPMPTSP) Bandung City. The result of this research findings show that the variable of service motivation has positive and significant influence to the performance of the employee of Capital investment and Applied licensing (DPMPTSP) Bandung City with R2 result of 54,7% and the rest 45,3% influenced by other factor. The result of simple linear regression calculation shows that if service motivation is constant, then employee performance equal to 8,340. Meanwhile, if the motivation of services increased 1% then the performance of employees will increase by 0.739. From significance test obtained Tcount (10,122) bigger than Ttable (1,988) show service motivation have positive and significant influence to performance of Department of Capital investment and Applied Licensing (DPMPTSP) of Bandung city.
