ABSTRACT Reward is needed as a motivation to improve the employee performance. The existence of disciplinary employment problems and the lack of work facilities resulted the non-optimal of a reward application by the BKPSDM Jembrana Regency. The aims of this research is to determine the effect of reward on the employee performance. The method used in this research is quantitative method with associative approach, to measure the effect of reward on employee performance. The population in this research counted 40 employees, therefore is using a saturated sampling technique. The result of R2 show that 32.5% of employee performances is influenced by reward and 67,5% is explained by other factors. The result of a Simple Linear Regression Analysis obtained tcount > ttable = 4,276 > 2,024 which means that reward variable have a significant effect to employee performance in BKPSDM Jembrana Regency.
