PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS BUDAYA LOKAL PADA MATERI ASAM,BASA, DAN GARAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMP

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis budaya lokal yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D menurut Tiagarajan dkk meliputi : 1) define; 2) design; 3) develop; dan 4) disseminate. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan 3 tahapan yaitu define, design, dan develop. Untuk menguji efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran digunakan desain penelitian One Shoot Case Study yang dimodifikasi. Siswa kelas VII D SMPN 2 Tejakula sebanyak 32 orang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Data untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari kajian pustaka dan angket yang disebarkan ke validator ahli dan praktisi. Data dianalisis dan disajikan secara deskriptif. Validitas perangkat pembelajaran ini mendapat skor rata-rata sebesar 4,23 dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ini dilihat dari keterlaksanaan modul sebesar 3,94 dengan kategori praktis. Aspek efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran ini terpenuhi karena tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yaitu mampu meningkatkan pemahaman aplikasi pengetahuan yang berbasis budaya dengan retensi 98,5 % kategori sangat baik dan presentase klasikal sebesar 53 % dengan kategori cukup efektif.Kata Kunci : perangkat pembelajaran, budaya lokal, IPA, dan hasil belajar The aim of this study was to produce science lesson plan based a local culture which fullfilled the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectivity to improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students in VII grade. The type of this study was Research and Development (R&D) especially lesson plan development using 4-D model according to Tiagarajan et al, include: 1) define; 2) design; 3) develop; and 4) disseminate. In this research only done 3 stages that were define, design, and develop. Pre-experimental design was used to test the effectivity by using one shoot case study modification. 32 students in class VII D SMPN 2 Tejakula were became subjects in this study. The data for knowing the validity and practicality of the lesson plan were obtained from literature review and questionnaires distributed to expert and practitioner validators. Data were analyzed and presented descriptively. Validity of this lesson plan has average score are 4.23 in valid category. The practicality of this lesson plan has fulfilled in category practice with the average score of the module implementation are 3.94. Effectivity aspects of this lesson plan are fulfilled because the achievement of learning objectives is able to improve the understanding and application of knowledge based on local culture with the average learning outcomes (posttest) of 68.16 and the retention are 98.5% in very good category and classical percentage are 53% with quite effective category.keyword : lesson plan, local culture, science, and learning outcomes
