Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi matematis pada siswa perempuan dan siswa laki-laki dengan gaya belajar auditori kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kendari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Siswa perempuan dengan gaya belajar auditori pada konten quantity, siswa belum mampu menggunakan alat matematika; pada bagian space and shape, siswa mampu melalui semua proses dalam literasi matematis; pada bagian change and relationships, siswa belum mampu melalui tahap merumuskan dan merencanakan strategi, memahami bahasa, menggunakan simbol dan melakukan operasi formal, serta belum mampu menggunakan alat matematika;  (2) Siswa laki-laki dengan gaya belajar auditori pada bagian quantity, siswa belum mampu melalui tahap matematisasi, merumuskan dan merencanakan strategi, dan menggunakan alat matematika; pada bagian space and shape dan change and relationships siswa mampu melalui semua proses dalam literasi matematis.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Literasi Matematis, Gaya Belajar Auditori, Gender  Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out the mathematical literacy abilities of male and female students with auditory learning style eight class Kendari State Middle School 2. The research method used in this study is exploration research with a qualitative approach. The results showed that, 1) Female students with auditory learning style on the content quantity, students have not been able to go through the stages of use mathematical tools; In space and shape, students are able to go through all the processes in mathematical literacy; In change and relationship content students have not been able to go through the stages of , formulate and plane strategies, understand language, use symbols and carry out formal operations and use mathematical tools; (2) Male students with auditory learning style on the content quantity, students have not been able to go through the stage of  mathematics, formulating and planning strategies and being able to use mathematical tools; In space and shape and change and relationships students are able to go through all the processes in mathematical literacy. Keywords: Literacy on Math, Auditory Learning Style, Gender
