This study aims to determine the best dosage of Nitrogen fertilizer and biochar on mustard plant pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) in inceptisol soil. The research was conducted in Hamlet Kraguman, Tegalwaru Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, East Java Province, for three months from September to November 2016. The study used Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 13 treatments and repeated 3 times. Observation was done 3 times that is age 25 HST, 35 HST, 45 HST with observed variables include plant height, leaf area, number of leaves, wet weight, and dry weight of mustard plant pakcoy. The results showed that the interaction of nitrogen and biochar fertilizers did not affect all observation parameters. Provision of nitrogen and biochar fertilizers increases the percentage of plant height increase, leaf area, wet weight, and dry weight of mustard plant pakcoy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan takaran pupuk nitrogen dan biochar terbaik pada tanaman sawi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) di tanah inceptisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Dukuh Kraguman, Desa Tegalwaru, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang, Provinsi Jawa Timur, selama tiga bulan mulai September ? November 2016. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 13 perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Pengamatan dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali yaitu umur 25 HST, 35 HST, 45 HST dengan variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, luas daun, jumlah daun, bobot basah, dan bobot kering tanaman sawi pakcoy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk nitrogen dan biochar tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Pemberian pupuk nitrogen dan biochar meningkatkan persentase pertumbuhan tinggi, luas daun, bobot basah, dan bobot kering tanaman sawi pakcoy.
