Analisis Karakter Peduli Lingkungan Siswa Kelas VIII E dan VIII I SMPN 1 Kota Jambi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil deskripsi karakter peduli lingkungan siswa kelas VIII E dan VIII I SMPN 1 Kota Jambi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian survei dan instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII E dan VIII I, dengan jumlah total 55 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Pada kelas VIII E, terdapat 32% peserta didik yang berkategori baik, terdapat 20% berkategori baik, terdapat 44% berkategori tidak baik dan terdapat 4% berkategori sangat tidak baik. Pada kelas VIII I, terdapat 40% peserta didik berkategori sangat baik, terdapat 53.3% berkategori baik, terdapat 3.3% berkategori tidak baik dan terdapat 3.3% sangat tidak baik. Berdasarkan hasil angket tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik kelas VIII E dan VIII I SMPN 1 Kota Jambi telah memiliki sikap baik dalam karakter peduli lingkungan.This study aims to find out the results of character descriptions caring for students of class VIII E and VIII I of SMP 1 Jambi City. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. While the type of research used is the type of survey research and research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII E and VIII I, with a total of 55 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques. In class VIII E, there were 32% of students who were categorized as good, there were 20% categorized as good, there were 44% categorized as not good and there were 4% categorized as very bad. In class VIII I, there were 40% of the students categorized very well, there were 53.3% in the good category, there were 3.3% in the bad category and 3.3% were very bad. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that students of class VIII E and VIII I of SMP 1 Jambi City have had a good attitude in the character of environmental care.
