<![CDATA[Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa is one of the museum with archaeological resource that is interesting enough to be published to the public. This museum is very able to represent the greatness of the Gowa Kingdom in the past with collection of objects. However, there are still many problems of Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa has, such as ehuman resources are not yet complete, the exhibition models that need to be updated, the information labels must be included, facilities and infrastructure of exhibitions, and also the concept of promotions and publications. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the condition of Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa, then it’s evaluated to choose the best development concept that can be used for this better museum. This research used survey and observation techniques, qualitatives descriptive method with an inductive approach.Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa adalah salah satu museum dengan koleksi arkeologis yang cukup menarik untuk dipublikasikan kepada masyarakat. Museum khusus Kerajaan Gowa ini mampu merepresentasikan kebesaran Kerajaan Gowa di masa lampau melalui benda koleksinya. Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi pada Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa masih banyak permasalahan yang ditemukan di dalamnya. Seperti sumber daya manusia yang belum lengkap, model penataan koleksi yang perlu dibenahi, label informasi yang harus dilengkapi, sarana dan prasarana pameran hingga bentuk promosi dan publikasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa saat ini, kemudian berdasarkan kondisi tersebut penulis melakukan evaluasi untuk menentukan konsep yang bisa digunakan dalam pengembangan Museum Balla Lompoa Sungguminasa ke depannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik survei dan observasi, dengan metode deskriptif dan penalaran induktif.]]>
