<![CDATA[Marriage is a practice of sunnah that is prescribed by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, and the dream of every human being. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of the pre-nikh guidance section of Islamic Community Guidance (BIMAS) in suppressing divorce rates in the 2016-2019 period. This research is a qualitative study, with data collection techniques derived from primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of literature studies. The results of this study are the Community Guidance (BIMAS) has important urgency in providing guidance to prospective brides through Marriage Guidance for Prospective Brides (BINWIN), these things are applied through the delivery of materials, including the issues of living in the family, family dynamics, realizing family those who are sakinah, mawadah, warrahmah, and blessings, and material on sexology, but in terms of suppressing divorce rates have been able to reduce the number of divorces in Surakarta in 2016-2018.Keywords: Marriage; Community Guidance; Divorce]]>
