Instrumen percaya diri siswa untuk sekolah menengah pertama

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru mengukur nilai percaya diri, mengetahui bentuk instrumen pengukuran nilai percaya diri, dan mengetahui kecenderungan nilai percaya diri siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas VII SMP. Teknik wawancara dan observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana guru mengukur nilai percaya diri. Prosedur pengembangan instrumen yakni: model hipotetis; validasi ahli menggunakan teknik Delphi; revisi I; uji keterbacaan; revisi II; uji coba agak luas; revisi III; uji coba luas; instrumen final;dan implementasi instrumen final. Analisisnya yang dilakukan meliputi: validitas butir menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment; uji reliabilitas menggunakan formula Cronbach Alpha; validitas isi;  validitas konkuren; dan validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian: guru menggunakan jurnal  dalam  melakukan  pengukuran  nilai  percaya  diri  siswa, instrumen nilai percaya diri valid dan reliabel dengan 5 indikator memuat 37 butir pernyataan terdiri atas 19 butir valensi dan 18 butir faktual, dan kecenderungan nilai percaya diri siswa SMP Negeri 1 Bantul dalam kategori tinggi. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine how the teachers measure the value of self-confidence, the form of the self-confidence value measuring instruments, and the tendency of students’ self-confidence value. The type of this research was research and development with VII grade students as the research sample. Interview and observation techniques were used to know how the teachers measure the self-confidence value. The instrument development procedures were: hypothetical models; expert judgement using the Delphi technique; revision I; legibility trial; revision II; more trial; revision III; comprehensive trial; final instrument; implementation of the final instrument. The analysis involves the validity of items using product-moment correlation analysis; reliability test using Cronbach Alpha formula; content validity; concurrent validity; and construct validity using factor analysis. The results of this research showed that teachers used journals in measuring of students' self-confidence value, instruments of self-confidence of valid and reliable with 5 indicators containing 37 items of statements, consisting of 19 valence items and 18 factual items, and the trends in students' self-confidence values of SMP N 1 Bantul related to mathematics subjects were in the high category.
