<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan hak yang dimiliki merupakan salah satu indikator positif meningkatnya kesadaran hukum dalam masyarakat. Upaya pelayanan kesehatan khususnya tindakan keperawatan hasilnya selalu memuaskan semua pihak terutama pasien.Tingginya tuntutan masyarakat akan mutu pelayanan kesehatan sering kali menimbulkan ketidakpuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan kesehatan terutama tindakan keperawatan yang dilakukan pada pasien yang dirawat. Tingkat pengetahuan tentang informed consent bagi perawat sangat penting untuk dapat memberikan pelindungan kepastian hukum kepada pemberi dan penerima pelayanan keperawatan. Metode: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan tentang informed consent oleh tenaga perawat yang melakukan tindakan asuhan keperawatan bagi pasien yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Kendal. Metode penelitian menggunakan yuridis sosiologis dengan responden 55 perawat yang melakukan tindakan asuhan keperawatan dengan metode survey dengan cara membagikan daftar pertanyaan tentang pengetahuan tentang informed consent, kelengkapan informedcansent dan pelaksanaan informed consent.Hasil: Tingkat pengetahuan tentang informed consent,pengetahuan tentang kelengkapan informed consent, dan pengetahuan tentang pelaksanaan informed consent bagi tenaga perawat yang melakukan asuhan keperawatan untuk pasien yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Kendal masih kurang. Diskusi: Sosialisasi tentang konsep dan pemahaman informed consent kepada para perawat sangat diperlukan agar para perawat yang melaksanakan tindakan asuhan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Kendal memiliki kompetensi yang relatif sama. ABSTRACT Introduction:The increase of awareness of the society abaut the owned right that constitute ane of the positive indications of the increase of law awareness in society. The main problem is, especialy the ressults of the acts of nursing are always satisfied all the parties, especially the patiens. The height of the society demand towards the quality health service often causes the inconvinience of the society towards the health service, especilly the acts of nursing done to the patients who are cared/treated. In the informed consent for the nurses is very impotant in oder to give the protection of the confirmed law toward the giver and the receiver of the nursing service. Methods:The purpose of this study to determine the level of knowledge of the informed consent by nurses who commit acts of nursing care for patients hospitalized in Kendal. Juridical sociological research methods used by respondents 55 nurses who commit acts of nursing care with survey method by distributing a list of questions about the knowledge of informed consent, the completeness informed cansent and the implementation of informed consent.Results:The level of knowledge about informed consent, knowledge about the completeness of informed consent, and knowledge about the implementation of informed consent for nurses perform nursing care for patients who were hospitalized in Kendal is still lacking.Discussion: Socialization of the concepts and understanding of the nurses informed consent is necessary for nurses who carry out acts of nursing care at the Hospital of Kendal have relatively equal competence.
