<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Petani merupakan pekerja informal yang belum mendapat binaan dalam pencegahan kecelakaan kerja dan gangguan kesehatan saat penyemprotan pestisida. Dalam mencegah dampak tersebut petani harus memakai APD masker. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap dengan praktik pemakaian APD masker pada petani padi saat melakukan penyemprotan pestisida. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survey analitik dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 392 dan sampel 154 petani dengan sampel purposive sampel. Alat penelitian menggunakan kuesioner untuk pengetahuan dan sikap yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitas,cheklist untuk praktik pemakaian APD masker. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi squre, hasilnya adalah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan praktik pemakaian APD masker(nilai p value 0,0000)dengan berpengetahuan baik sebesar 42,9% dan ada hubungan antara sikap dengan praktik pemakaian APD masker(nilai p value 0,0000)dengan sikap baik 37%dan yang memakai APD masker 35,7%. Petani disarankan agar memakai APD masker saat melakukan penyemprotan pestisida guna mencegah terjadinya gangguan kesehatan. Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, Sikap, Praktik Pemakaian APD masker THE RELATION BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE WITH THE PRACTICE OF WEARES MASKS APD AT FARMERS DURING SPRAYING PESTICIDES ABSTRACT Farmers are informal jobs that have no guidance in preventing the occurrence of occupation accidents and health problem when spraying pesticides. Prevent these impacts farmers should wear a mask APD. From the results of the predecessor study of famers who do not wear masks APD as many 7 people. The purpose of this study to determine the relation between knowledge and attitude with the practice of weares masks APD at farmers during spraying pesticides. This type of research is analytical survey using the approach method cross sectional population in this study as many 392 farmer sample, 154 farmer sampling tecnique purposive sample. This research tool questionnaires for knowledge and attitudes that have been tested for validity and reliability, chacklist for the pravtice of applying mask APD on farmers. The results of this study were obtained using chi square test and in obtaining results there is a relationship between knowledge with the practice of using mask APD on the farmer that is (p value 0,0000) and there is a relationship between attitude with the practice of using mask APD on the farmer (p value 0,0000) for farmer are advised to wear APD mask when spraying pasticides to prevent the occurrence of health problem.
