<![CDATA[The term philosophy is often used as a tool for scientific thinking in science. The development of philosophical thought in ancient Greece had two models of rationality namely, First, concrete philosophy. Second, philosophy in the form of metaphysics. However, this thought is not in line with the thinking of modern philosophy, namely Agus Comte in his theory "Logical Possitivism" states that everything that is rationalized that is metaphysical is considered wrong, it cannot be verified because metaphysical philosophy cannot be reached by the five senses. It can be concluded that, logical toeori possitivism only functions on what can be rationalized by the five senses. Thus, this paper exists to examine and trace the direction of the ideas of the Comte in his theory known as possitivism. Keywords: Theory, Possitivism, Agus Comte. Istilah filsafat sering digunakan sebagai alat metode berpikir ilmiah dalam keilmuan. Perkembangan pemikiran filsafat pada yunani kuno memiliki dua model rasionalitas yaitu, Pertama, filsafat yang berbentuk konkret. Kedua, filsafat yang berbentuk metafisika. Namun pemikiran tersebut tidak sejalan dengan pemikiran filsafat moderen yaitu Agus Comte dalam teorinya ?Possitivisme Logis? menyatakan bahwa, segala yang dirasionalitaskan yang bersifat metafisika dianggap salah, hal itu tidak dapat diverifikasi karena filsafat metafisika tidak dapat dijangkau oleh panca indera. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, toeori possitivisme logis hanya berfungsi pada apa yang bisa dirasionalitaskan oleh panca indra. Dengan demikian, tulisan ini hadir untuk mengkaji dan menelusuri arah pemikiran agus comte dalam teorinya dikenal dengan istilah possitivisme. Kata Kunci: Teori, Possitivisme, Agus Comte.]]>
