APPLICATION OF BAMBOO DANCE LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE PKN LEARNING RESULTS IN CLASS IV WATES GROBOGAN

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of  PKn students in grade IV SDN 1 Wates. The purpose of this study was to improve PKn learning outcomes in fourth grade students through bamboo dance learning models. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection techniques in this study were test and non-test. Data analysis uses quantitative data analysis to process learning outcomes and qualitative analysis to process teacher skills data and student activities in learning. The results showed that the use of the Bamboo Dance model could improve the learning outcomes of PKn grade IV students of SDN 1 Wates Kedungjati Sub-District Grobogan Regency. This can be shown by improving student learning outcomes in class IV in each cycle. In cycle I students completed 11 students (45.8%) increased in cycle II to 24 students (100%). Student activities in the first cycle there were 10 students (41.7%) who ranked at least good and increased in cycle II by 24 students (100%) who ranked at least good. For the skills of teachers in the first cycle scored 2.75 with a good rating and increased in the second cycle to 4 with a very good rating. Based on these data it can be concluded that the fourth grade students' PKn learning outcomes have met the success indicator that is at least 70% of students reach the KKM score ≥70
