<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of STAD type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in art learning at SMP N 16 Padang. This research is an experimental research using presest-posttes group design research design. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The result of t test conducted on the experimental class and control class shows the tcount of 4,970 and the sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000 while the ttable is 2.040. From the value of sig (2-tailed) above the value is smaller than sig (0,000 <0,05) and t arithmetic is greater than t table (4.970 > 2.040), then H0 is rejected.
