DAMPAK MEA (MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN) BAGI KETENAGAKERJAAN DI KOTA MANADO

ABSTRAKMEA (Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN) adalah bentuk integrasi ekonomi regional yang mulai diberlakukan pada tahun 2015. Dalam konteks ketenagakerjaan, kehadiran MEA seharusnya memberikan kesempatan luas bagi para pencari kerja untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan di semua negara ASEAN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dampak MEA bagi ketenagakerjaan khususnya di kota Manado. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui study kepustakaan dan wawancara dengan stake holder dimana didapati bahwa masuknya MEA ternyata tidak berdampak bagi ketenagakerjaan di Kota Manado. Karena dari data yang ada ternyata di Manado hanya ada 51 TKA, bahkan hanya 1 diantaranya yang berasal dari negara ASEAN, yaitu Singapura. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena lapangan pekerjaan di Kota Manado masih belum  membutuhkan TKA. Namun begitu kehadiran MEA dan keberadaan TKA di kota Manado oleh dinas ketenagakerjaan disambut baik. Namun pemerintah menyiapkan beberapa aturan bagi para TKA. Kata Kunci : Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN; Ketenagakerjaan; Kota Manado.   ABSTRACTAEC (ASEAN Economic Community) is a form of regional economic integration that came into force in 2015. In the context of employment, the presence of the AEC should provide broad opportunities for job seekers to find work in all ASEAN countries. This study aims to describe the impact of the AEC on employment, especially in the city of Manado. This research was conducted through a literature study and interviews with stakeholders where it was found that the entry of the AEC did not have an impact on employment in the city of Manado. Because of the data, it turns out that in Manado there are only 51 foreign workers, in fact only 1 of them is from ASEAN countries, namely Singapore. One reason is that employment in the city of Manado still does not require foreign workers. However, the presence of MEA and the presence of TKA in the city of Manado by the employment department was welcomed.
