The Role of Fisheries Sector Before and After the Implementation of Regional Outonomy in Central Java

The objectives of this research is to find out the character of fisheries sector, before and after the act of regional in Central Java otonom. A discriptive method was apply by using secondary data from Central Java Input Output Table Data, Domestic Transaction Based on Producer Price 19 Sector year 1993, 2000, 2004 and 2007. The results showed that the Regional Autonom Act since 1 January 2000 in Central Java influenced the monetary, and others fisheries sectors, such as on the supply and demand, output, added value and trading structure.
