Abstract

The aims of this research were to know the relationship among biological learning difficulties with affective competence and cognitive competence and each contribution to that difficulties toward student of SMUN 8 Surakarta. This research was carried out during academic year of 2004/2005. This was the descriptive quantitative research with ex post facto. The threated student was sampled in amount of 40 students by simple random sampling.  The data obtained was then analized by multivariate-linear regression analysis. The result showed that there was significant difference between biological learning difficulties with affective competence and cognitive competence. The dominant contributor to the difficulties was the affective competence (82,29%). This research also found that there was correlation between those two competences.
