EVALUASI APLIKASI SISTEM INFORMASI PRAKTEK INDUSTRI DAN TUGAS AKHIR DENGAN METODE USABILITY TESTING

Kebutuhan akan web sebagai media pendukung untuk menyampaikan suatu informasi yang sangat efektif kini telah melebar hingga ke dunia pendidikan. Saat ini segala penyampaian informasi dalam aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan dapat diakses langsung oleh siswa dan mahasiswa melalui sebuah web. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam bentuk web oleh Teknik Industri Undip adalah dibangunnya situs web pendaftaran tugas akhir. Pada website pendaftaran tugas akhir Teknik Industri Undip perlu di evaluasi secara detail untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampugunaan situs web tersebut bagi pengguna dan kemudahan user dalam mengakses situs web tersebut. Evaluasi terhadap SIPRITA yang telah diimplementasikan di Teknik Industri UNDIP perlu dilakukan, salah satunya untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegunaan (usability) situs web tersebut bagi pengguna. Alat untuk evaluasi pengukuran yang akan digunakan adalah usability testing. Hasil evaluasi web Sistem Informasi Tugas Akhir dan Praktek Industri menunjukkan bahwa nilai penerimaan usability oleh user berada di atas angka 3 dalam skala 5 atau memiliki nilai rata-rata 3. Secara umum, web Sistem Informasi Tugas Akhir dan Praktek Industri yang dibuat telah memiliki nilai usability, yaitu learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, dan satisfaction yang baik. Walaupun masih terdapat nilai usability yang masih dibawah angka 3, nantinya akan digunakan untuk memperbaiki desain selanjutnya. ABSTRACT The need for supporting the web as a medium to deliver a highly effective information has now been stretched to the world of education. Currently all the information in the delivery of activities related to education can be accessed directly by students and students via a web. One use of information technology in the form of a web by Industrial Engineering Undip is the construction of the final project registration website. On the website registration Industrial Engineering Undip thesis should be evaluated in detail to determine how the web site usability for users and user convenience in accessing the website. SIPRITA evaluation of which has been implemented in Industrial Engineering UNDIP needs to be done, one of them to know how to use (usability) of the web site for users. A tool for the evaluation of measurement that will be used is usability testing. Web evaluation results Information System Final Project and Industrial Practice shows that the acceptance of usability by the user is above the number 3 in a scale of 5 or has an average value of 3. In general, Web Information Systems Final Project and Industrial Practice made has had a usability value, are learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction is good. Although there is still a usability value is still below the number 3, will be used to improve the design further.
