<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to improve the ability to use the technical measuring tools of the vernier caliper and micrometer through the application of the Drill Learning Method of the students in Grade X of Light Vehicle Engineering Department 2 of State Vocational High School 1 of Sawit, Boyolali through the application of the Drill Learning Method.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The results show that through the application of the the Drill Learning Method can the ability to use the technical measuring tools of the vernier caliper and micrometer of pre-cycle to cycle I and II. The learning process in the pre-cycle using the conventional model so that the who fulfilled the minimum completeness criterion in using the vernier caliper is 40%. Following the treatment, it becomes 60% in Cycle I and 86% in Cycle II respectively. In addition, in the pre-cycle the percentage of the students whose competency in using the micrometer increased is 40%. Following the treatment, it becomes 63% in Cycle I and 83% in Cycle 2 respectively.
