Abstract

Kata kunci: faktor risiko, hematokrit, penyakit kardiovaskularABSTRACTHematocrit is the total result of the presentation of blood volume in the human body. The high and low hematocrit value is very important because it can function as a detector of anemia, other diseases related to the number of blood cells and can measure the accuracy of hemoglobin levels in the human body. This study was conducted to determine whether or not there was a relationship between hematocrit levels and risk factors for Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) in the Faculty of Pharmacy students of Padjadjaran University. The study was conducted by collecting data from the Faculty of Pharmacy students of Padjadjaran University who had a family history of cardiovascular disease, measurement of hematocrit levels, and measurement of parameters of cardiovascular disease including total cholesterol and systolic blood pressure. The results of the analysis with the Spearman correlation test using SPSS software showed a significance result of 0.079 where p-value> 0.05. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between risk factors for cardiovascular disease and hematocrit levels. Keywords: risk factors, hematocrit, cardiovascular disease
