<![CDATA[Problems that are analyzed include 1) How to use Uma greeting in Banjar? and 2) How is the realization of the use of greeting Uma Banjar language in expressive speech acts?. Objectives to be achieved determine 1) the use of greeting Uma Banjar. 2) realization of greeting Uma Banjar language in expressive speech acts. This research is expected to be able to describe forms special greeting that is used to replace the name of women bound by blood or marriage relationship speakers. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Techniques used in the data collection iare he technique of recording and documentation. Were colected Kampung Jawa, Banjar Regency from March to August 2015. This resercah found two things related to the use of greeting in two things. The first greeting Uma due to hereditary factors and factors of marital relationships. Second. Uma greeting used in expressive speech acts in Banjar community aims to laud, criticize, blame, and thank you.]]>
