Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional dan Motivasi Berprestasi Siswa terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

Abstract

Penelitian mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh kompetensi profesional dan motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei kaual, dengan teknik analisis jalur. Populasi berjumlah 1449 siswa, dan sampel sebanyak 105 siswa. Data dihimpun dengan tes dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh langsung kompetensi profesional terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, 2) terdapat pengaruh langsung motivasi berprestsi siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika, 3) terdapat pengaruh langsung kompetensi profesional terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa. Implikasinya, peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru akan berdampak pada peningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa, yang selanjutnya akan meningkatkan hasil belajar (matematika) siswa.   The research is aimed to investigate the influence of professional competence and achievement motivation on the students’ learning mathematics achievement. The research uses a method of casual survey, with path analysis technique. The population has 1,449 students, and the sample amounts to 105 students. The data are collected through tests and questionnaires. The results of the research show that: 1) there is a direct influence of professional competence on the student's mathematics learning achievement; 2) there is a direct influence of the student's achievement motivation toward their mathematics learning achievement; and 3) there is a direct influence of professional competence on the students’ achievement motivation. The implication of the research is that the improvement of professional competence of teachers will have an impact on improving students’ achievement motivation, which will further improve the students’ Mathemetics learning achievement.
