Kompetensi Profesionalis Guru dan Minat Belajar Siswa dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan mengungkapkan pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan minat belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey, dengan teknik analisis jalur. Populasi terjangkau sebanyak 150, dan sampel 109 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan:  1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif Kompetensi Profesional Guru terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA, 2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif Minat belajar siswa terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA, 3) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif Kompetensi Profesional Guru terhadap Minat belajar siswa. Implikasi, peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru dan minat belajar secara parsial dan simultan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa. The research aims to know, analyze and reveal the influence of professional competence of teachers and students' interests in learning achievement of Natural Science. The research uses a survey method with path analysis technique. The affordable population amounts to 150, and the samples have 109 students. The results showed: 1) there is a positive effect of teacher professional competence on the learning achievement of Natural Science, 2) there is a positive influence of students’ learning interests on the Natural Science learning achievement, 3) there is a positive influence of teacher professional competence on the students’ learning interests. Implications, the increased professional competence of teachers, and the learning interests partially and simultaneously can improve students' learning achievement of Natural Science.
