ABSTRACT The study intends to examine the learning and teaching activities of the teacher in providing service to customers using Direct Instruction (DI) to find out the students learning outcome, and the teacher activities to the use of DI. The subject of the study were the eleven graders of office administration at SMKN 1 Probolinggo. The data were obtained observation, documentation, and test. The result of the study shows that learning activities performed by the teacher were considered good in cycle 2. Additionally, the learning outcome of the students increased to the use of DI. Key words: direct instruction, study result ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk meneliti kegiatan belajar dan mengajar dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pelanggan dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Langsung (MPL) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, dan aktivitas guru dengan penggunaan MPL. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI administrasi perkantoran di SMKN 1 Probolinggo. Data diperoleh observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan belajar yang dilakukan oleh guru dianggap baik dalam siklus 2. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan penggunaan MPL.
