<![CDATA[This research aimed to know the effect of cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type towards student’s mathematical communication skill and belief. The design which was used in this research was pretest posttest control group design. The population was all students of grade 7th of SMPN 21 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into eleven classes. The samples were students of VIIA and VIIC class which were taken by cluster random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical communication skill and belief scale. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type affect the student’s mathematical communication skill and belief.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan belief siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 21 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam sebelas kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIC yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan skala belief.
