IKLIM KELAS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SMA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji besarnya kontribusi iklim kelas terhadapmotivasi belajar siswa SMA. Sampel pada penelitian berasal dari populasi siswa SMANegeri 57 Kedoya Jakarta Barat. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah samplingberjenjang, di mana terdapat sampel pada setiap tingkatan atau strata. Setiap tingkatandiwakili oleh satu kelas. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 121 siswa. Instrumen penelitianadalah kuesioner. Kuesioner dikembangkan untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan iklimkelas. Konstribusi iklim kelas diukur menggunakan analisis regresi. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian diketahui bahwa iklim kelas memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadapmotivasi belajar siswa SMA. Kontribusi yang diberikan dinyatakan oleh nilai koefisiendeterminasi sebesar 31.7%, sedangkan 68.3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya.AbstractThe aim of this research is to measure the contribution of class climate to learningmotivation in senior high school students. The participants of this research is 121students from SMA 57 Kedoya, West Jakarta. The data is collected by questionairrewith stratified sampling. The questionairre is used to measure the class climate andlearning motivation. The contribution is measured by simple regression. The resultshows significant contribution of class climate to learning motivation in senior highschool students. The coeficient determinant of the contribution around 31.7%, and theother 68.3% is affected by the other variables.
