Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini berawal dari kenyataan di Taman Kanak-kanak Bhayangkari 3, Padang bahwa kemampuan membaca anak belum berkembang dengan baik dikarenakan permainan yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran membaca yaitu melalui kartu kata cenderung monoton, membosankan, dan kurang menarik bagi anak, sehingga kurang efektif dalam kegiatan membaca anak. Permainan mencari pasangan kata dalam kegiatan membaca menekankan pada kemenarikkan, dan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan untuk anak dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas permainan mencari pasangan kata terhadap kemampuan membaca anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Bhayangkari 3 Padang. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah permainan mencari pasangan kata efektif terhadap kemampuan membaca anak. Kata Kunci : Permainan mencari pasangan kata, Kemampuan membaca Abstract This study originated from the fact in kindergarten Bhayangkari 3, Champaign that reading ability is not well developed due to the game that used by teachers in learning to read is through word cards tend to be monotonous, boring, and less attractive to children, making it less effective in activities read children. The game of words pairs matching in reading ability interesting activities, and learning fun for children in learning. This study aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of the game looking for a couple words to the reading skills of children in kindergarten Bhayangkari 3 Padang.
