Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Berhitung anak melalui permainan Snake Ladder di PAUD Islam Excellent Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian yang ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B Ummu Habibah yang berjumlah 20 orang yang terdiri dari 10 orang perempuan dan 10 laki-laki tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Berhitung anak mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum tindakan, terlihat dengan tercapainya Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan kegiatan permainan snake ladder dapat meningkatkan kemampuan Berhitung anak di PAUD Islam Excellent Bukittinggi. Kata kunci : Berhitung, snake ladder, PAUD The purpose of this research is to improve the numeracy skills of children through play snake ladder in kindergarten Islam Excellent Bukittinggi. This type of research is a classroom action researh (PTK). The subjects were children in group B Ummu Habibah Kindegarten Islam Excellent Bukittinggi, the total were 20 people consisting of 10 women and 10 men academic year 2014/2015. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using percentages. Analysis classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consist of three meetings. The result of the, that in the second cycle indicates the child count has ability increased from the prior action, visible achievement of minimum completeness criteria (KKM). It can be concluded that the activities of snake ladder game can improve numeracy skills in Kindegarten Children Excellent Bukittinggi. Keywords: Numeracy, snake ladder game, kindegarten
