Abstract The goal of this research is to know the eligibility of documentary film as learning media in the sub-material of excretory system disorders on third grade senior high school. The research form is research and development, with stages potential and problem, collecting data, designing product, validating design and revising design. The eligibility of documentary film as learning media in the sub-material of excretory system disorders on third grade senior high school could be seen from the validation result. The validation result done by three media experts and three material experts, showed an average value of total material validation is 3.35 with maximum score is 4 and it showed valid number. Whereas an average value of total media validation is 3.67 with the maximum score is 4 and it showed valid number. In conclusion, this documentary film is valid to be used as learning media in the sub-material of excretory system disorders.
