AbstractThe aims of this research were to determine the feasibility and the readability of teaching material suplement on saponification. The form of this study was research and development (R&D) that adopted Borg & Gall model. The subject of this study was a teaching material suplement which tested on nine undergraduate students of Chemistry Education FKIP Untan. The result of data processing showed that the teaching material suplement was very feasible (88,22%) including of content (88%), presentation (87%), linguistic (85,3%), and graphic aspects (90,83%). Based on undergraduate student’s response questionnaire, the result was 85,87%. This data showed that undergraduate student’s response to the textbook suplement on saponification material was classified as very good category. Keyword : development,  suplement, saponification
