KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING PADA MATERI INDIKATOR ASAM BASA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menentukan perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Sanggau materi Indikator Asam-Basa. Penelitian ini berbentuk pre-experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian berupa One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 berjumlah 31 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik Purposive Sampling. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, siswa berada pada kategori tidak terampil, kurang terampil, terampil dan sangat terampil dengan hasil berturut-turut  3,22% ; 77,42% ; 19,35% dan 0%  menjadi 0% ; 9,67% ; 90,32% ; 0%. Dari hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sesudah lebih baik daripada sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.   Kata kunci: keterampilan, berpikir kritis, inkuiri terbimbing, indikator asam-basa.  Abstract: This research aims to describe and define the differences critical thinking skills of students before and after the model of guided inquiry learning in class XI IPA SMAN 2 Sanggau materials Acid-Base Indicator. This research based on pre-experimental design with One-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research consist of 31 students in XI IPA 1 class based on purposive sampling technique. Improved critical thinking skills of students before and after guided inquiry learning, students are in the category of unskilled, less skilled, skilled and highly skilled with consecutive results of 3.22%; 77.42%; 19.35% and 0% to 0%; 9.67%; 90.32%; 0%. Results of the Wilcoxon test showed a difference of critical thinking skills. It can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of students after better than before using guided inquiry learning model.   Keywords: skills, critical thinking, guided inquiry, acid-base indicator.
