Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the application of learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning in the learning outcome social sciences of fourth grade students in public primary schools 03 Paling Bengkayang.The method used in this research is descriptive, form research is classroom action research, is the collaborative nature of the research. Subjects in this study were teachers and students of fourth grade totaling 17 students. Data collection techniques in this study is the direct observation and measurement. This study was conducted by two cycles. Results of the study are (1) the ability of teachers in designing learning first cycle that 2,97 (enough) and the second cycle of 3.02 (good). (2) The ability of teachers in implementing the learning in the first cycle that 3,27 (good) and the second cycle of 3.48 (good). (3) The results of Shiva learning using learning methods Contextual Teaching and Learning in the learning of social science in the fourth grade at 03 least the first cycle of 67.06 and 79.41 for the second cycle. The conclusion of this research is the study of social sciences use models Contextual Teaching and Learning can improve student learning outcomes fourth grade 03 Paling, Bengkayang.   Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning, Learning Outcomes, Social Science
