AbstractThis study aims to describe and overcome the obstacle of number sense students by giving treatment in the form of anticipatory didactic approach in fraction addition material in class VII of MTsN Sintang. Specifically the purpose of this research is : (1) Disclose the number sense of student before being given didactic anticipation ;(2) Disclose the number sense of student after being given didactic anticipation. The research method used is descriptive analytical oriented to problem solving with the form of research is a case study. Subjects in this study were four students who got the lowest score. The results obtained from this study are that the number sense of students who have been given treatment using the anticipatory approach didactically experience a reduction from before being given treatment.
